Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned lots of attention. Calvano is a Californian who began her career in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to become an actor. Her first screen appearance was in the year 2010 with an episode of the CBS program "NCIS,". In the biographical crime-drama movie J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen a few months later. In the ensuing years she's established herself as one of the most promising young actors within the field today. In 2011, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 for her role in NCIS. The actress was also nominated 2013 for an additional Young Artist Award, this time because of her appearance as a guest star in the comedy series of Disney XD 'Kickin' It'.
